Marhaba I am Ismail. I am an enthusiastic and dedicated educator specializing in Arabic and English language instruction. With a strong academic background in linguistics and a passion for language teaching, I have accumulated extensive experience in both classroom and online settings. My journey in education began with a BA in English Linguistics from Moulay Ismail University, followed by advanced training in TEFL and other pedagogical methodologies. Currently, I am pursuing my Master's in Linguistics at Ibn Tofail University. My commitment to professional growth is evident through my participation in numerous workshops, webinars, and seminars, enabling me to stay updated with the latest teaching strategies and technologies. Over the years, I have had the privilege of teaching Arabic and English to a diverse range of students, both in Morocco and internationally. My career includes roles such as a Teacher Assistant at Washington and Lee University in the USA, where I not only taught language skills but also served as a cultural ambassador. I have also worked extensively online through platforms like Preply and italki, accumulating hundreds of hours of teaching experience. In these roles, I have developed and implemented customized lesson plans, designed educational materials, and employed various assessment methods to track and enhance student progress. Additionally, I have contributed to the educational community by publishing articles on effective language learning strategies and the importance of integrating colloquial Arabic into the classroom. My teaching style is student-centered and adaptive, focusing on creating an engaging and interactive learning environment. I believe in the power of technology to enhance language learning, incorporating tools like Flipgrid, Kahoot, and Canva to diversify instruction and make learning more dynamic. My lessons are designed to cater to the individual needs of each student, ensuring that they receive personalized attention and support. I emphasize practical language use, encouraging students to actively participate in speaking, listening, reading, and writing activities. By using a variety of assessment techniques, I am able to provide constructive feedback and guide students towards achieving their language goals. My ultimate aim is to inspire confidence and a love for language learning in my students, helping them to become proficient and enthusiastic communicators.
