Eoin Ruddy

Hello, My name is Eoin and I am from the north of Ireland. I am passionate about living life to the fullest and creating a better, more positive, and fulfilled life for others. I have been an online ESL teacher for 1 year and have 4 years of experience working within a post-primary school in Ireland, specifically working with pupils learning English as a second language. For the past 3 years, I have been full time traveling the world, mainly focusing on Asia. I love learning about different cultures and traditions, gaining new experiences, and exploring local life within different countries. I have 4 years of experience teaching pupils within a post-primary school, along with 4 years of experience in planning, delivering, and evaluating developmental and social educational programs for young people aged 5-25 years old. I have also spent 3 months in rural North East India teaching English to both adults and children face-to-face. Since then I have achieved my TEFL 120hrs certificate as I now want to combine all my skills and experience together to teach English online to new learners, which I have now been doing for 1 year. I have further achieved my TEFL certificate in Business English, IELTS preparation, TOEIC preparation, teaching young learners, and yoga and mindfulness for young learners. Over this past 1 year, I have been teaching students ranging in age from 6 - 60+ and I have a wide range of experience working with people from all over the world. My teaching style is fun, informative, and welcoming as I want all my students to feel comfortable, confident, and encouraged during my lessons. I am very positive and happy, and I love to bring this into my lessons to give students the most enjoyable, memorable, and educational lesson possible.
